WELCOME TO THE ALEXANDER MURRAY HIKING TRAIL

Discover one of Newfoundland’s most rewarding hikes in King’s Point, NL. This 8km loop features over 2,200 stairs, three stunning waterfalls, five scenic lookouts, and a breathtaking 1,100-foot summit that offers panoramic views you won’t forget.

ABOUT THE ALEXANDER MURRAY TRAIL

Named after a famed eighteenth-century explorer, this, national standard trail beckons the present-day adventurer. Before proceeding to the Haypook Summit, which will give you a spectacular view of all of Green Bay (elev. 1,000 ft.), take a side trail to the majestic Corner Brook Falls which will leave you breathless. Visitors are thrilled with a variety of landscapes along this trail, from forests to barrens. See a dramatic mountain landscape of glacier-carved gorges, lush valleys, streams, waterfalls and marshes. Visitors can Stop and relax at rest areas and scenic vistas along the trail.
