Bringing the best of Newfoundland and Labrador filmmaking to our outdoor stage, the Nickel at King’s Point features a curated selection of short films under the stars. It’s a unique cultural experience that blends cinema, community, and the beauty of the trail. It also teaches and encourages people from our community to create films of their own!

An unforgettable showcase of local talent, the Green Bay Theatre Festival brings live performances to life against the stunning backdrop of the trail. With stories that reflect our culture, history, and humor, it’s a celebration of Newfoundland’s creative spirit in the heart of King’s Point.

A beloved local tradition, Phyllis’s Tea Party is a heartwarming afternoon of homemade treats, fresh tea, and community connection. Hosted on the trail grounds, it’s a celebration of kindness, hospitality, and the people who make King’s Point special.

Set against the scenic backdrop of the Alexander Murray Hiking Trail, the Murray Markets bring together local vendors, artisans, and food producers for a vibrant day of shopping, music, and community. It’s the perfect way to support local and enjoy the trail grounds with friends and family.

Throughout the year, our event grounds also host a variety of special gatherings—like Kids Days filled with outdoor games and crafts, lively community dances under the stars, and educational seminars focused on nature, wellness, and local history. There’s something for everyone to enjoy at the trail!
